Produced by Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası under the Artistic Direction of Portuguese choreographer Francisco Camacho, Taşıdıklarımız arrives at Paribu Art on November 24.
Are the things we carry actually the things we need? Do they keep us alive? Or are they simply what allow us to continue living without ever questioning it?
Do we keep repeating movements without realizing how arbitrary they are, or do we do so because we know the emptiness will slowly seep in without them? Are the strings of the life laboratory entirely in our hands, or are our decisions nothing more than a form of deferring the confrontation that would otherwise make us question all our experience? This special gathering at Paribu Art on Sunday, November 24 will be an unforgettable journey that confronts the audience with their own "carryings."
