Emir Yargın, who released "Tokat" in 2010 and followed it with the "Geri Dönüşüm Kutusundaki Anılar" album in 2015, is one of the first representatives of Turkish-language electronic pop. After releasing singles in 2019 and 2020, he is returning to the stage with a new concert series called "Klas Pop." In this special series, Emir and his experienced musician friends present an evening where every feeling is felt and songs are sung in unison.
About Emir Yargın
He started his musical journey playing drums in middle school and continued drumming in many bands throughout high school and university. At just 20 years old, he won second place in the 2008 Roxy Music Days competition with electronic pop tracks "Köpek" and "Çorap." During the years when rock music was popular, he became one of the first to bring electronic pop to the live stage, earning a reputation as a creative, innovative, and high-energy musician in the press. Between 2009 and 2011, he performed as the vocalist of the electronic music duo "The Bananas" across many cities in Turkey. His 2010 album "Tokat" and the album's unusual first video "Tokat" went truly viral, spreading at an incredible speed in a very short time. He released "Geri Dönüşüm Kutusundaki Anılar" in 2015 and singles in 2019 and 2020.
In 2017, he combined his experience in music and directing with the kitchen to create the food channel "Çakal Lezzetler." He continues to create content for the wide audience he has reached with Çakal Lezzetler.
