Growing up on the city’s interdisciplinary and energetic scene, Myra draws inspiration from diverse names like Bonobo, Ólafur Arnalds, and Kenny Wheeler in her original instrumental compositions. This wide-ranging palette combines emotional intensity, lightness, and a sense of rising optimism to create Jasmine Myra’s distinctive atmosphere.
Recently joining Gondwana Records, Myra works with A&R and producer Matthew Halsall, who has discovered international acts like GoGo Penguin, Mammal Hands, and Hania Rani. This collaboration deepens Myra’s compositions, which move between modern jazz and electronic and orchestral tones, steering her toward a powerful artistic direction.
