Gripin

Founded in 1999 by Birol Namoğlu and Evren Gülçığ, Gripin reached its current lineup with the addition of İlker Baliç and Murat Başdoğan in 2001, followed by Arda İnceoğlu in 2002. The band’s musical journey began with their debut album Hikâyeler Anlatıldı in 2004. Due to its strong reception, a second edition was released in 2005. With their self-titled album in 2007, Gripin reached a wider audience, leaving a lasting mark on the era with their emotionally rich sound.

Released in 2010, M.S. 05.03.2010, featuring 11 tracks, was described by the band as a turning point—a milestone in their musical evolution. Their 2012 album Yalnızlığın Çaresini Bulmuşlar became home to some of Gripin’s timeless classics, including Aşk Nerden Nereye, Vazgeçtim Ben Bugün, and the title track. Their 2021 single Belki Çok Da Şey Yapmamak Lazım was widely acclaimed, followed by their latest single Aklıma Ziyan, released in May 2025 under the Gripin Yapım label.

On September 5, 2025, Gripin released Tek Buzlu, a special project album reinterpreting seven of their beloved songs with new arrangements—bringing together past and present in a distinctive way.
