Barış Demirel

Trumpeter, singer-songwriter, and producer Barış Demirel takes the stage at Komünite on September 24 at 9:30 PM.

The artist delivers a genre-defying performance experience across indie pop, hip hop, and deep house in both the studio and live. Having performed at the long-running "Barıştık mı" project at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2019, Demirel released his debut solo album "Mutluluklar" in 2021. Following "Bi’ Aralar İyiydim" and "Dans Pisti Cenazesi", this latest work also made the year's best albums lists across all platforms.

Demirel joins forces with Turkish rap icon Da Poet under the "DPBD" alias, while continuing to collaborate with Swiss producer Kadebostany. The musician prepares to meet fans with new songs and duets from his fourth solo album.
