About
Bringing Bursa’s cultural heritage together with modern life, Merinos Atatürk Kongre ve Kültür Merkezi stands out as one of the city’s most prominent art and event complexes. Created through the transformation of the historic Merinos Factory, the center spans a total area of 74,215 m², including a 22,965 m² parking facility.
The Cultural Center hosts a conservatory, an art center, and the Textile and Migration Museums, making it not only a venue for events but also a hub for education and social life. Extending from the West Gate to the East Gate that opens into the Congress Center, the 7,600 m² exhibition area is suitable for exhibitions, fairs, gala events, and receptions. Surrounded by 3 art galleries, 5 seminar halls, and 14 shops, the space offers both functional and visual unity.
The art galleries within the center are named after renowned artists from Bursa, including Zeki Müren, Müzeyyen Senar, and Yıldırım Gürses. In addition, the 7,130 m² terrace above the indoor parking area is designed for open-air concerts and events.
Merinos AKKM features a 7,600 m² indoor exhibition hall, three separate 750 m² exhibition galleries, a 7,100 m² outdoor exhibition area, as well as a 460-car indoor and 300-car outdoor parking capacity. It also includes halls of various sizes: the 1,623-seat Osmangazi Hall, the 813-seat Orhangazi Hall, the 400-seat Hüdavendigar Hall, and the 1,000-person Yıldırım Bayezid Hall, all providing ideal settings for concerts, congresses, and performing arts.
With its extensive facilities, the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center has been serving as a meeting point for culture, art, and social life in Bursa since 2010.
