 Toronto-based duo Kazdoura, of Syrian-Lebanese descent, blends traditional Arabic maqam with psychedelic rock, funk, jazz, and groove. With Leen Hamo’s captivating vocals and Johnny Abou Chacra’s layered instrumentation, they reshape the Middle East’s rich musical heritage into a contemporary reinterpretation.

 In songs exploring themes of migration, belonging, nostalgia, and identity, Kazdoura combines the emotional depth of Arabic music with the psychedelic spirit of the 70s and today’s independent aesthetic. The group stands out as one of the most compelling alternative Arabic music projects of recent years, featuring million-stream hits and an award-winning "Khayal" video. Kazdoura invites listeners on a borderless musical journey defined by hypnotic rhythms and enchanting melodies.

 Habibi Funk will close the night with a DJ set digging up rare funk, soul, and groove records from the Arab world of the 60s, 70s, and 80s.
