Nükhet Duru

Starting her professional music career in 1974, Nükhet Duru reached a wide audience with her 1975 single "Beni Benimle Bırak - Gerisi Vız Gelir" and won her first Golden Record award with this release. With her debut album "Bir Nefes Gibi" in 1976, she became the owner of the "Best Interpreter" and "Best Female Vocalist of the Year" awards. In 1978, she won first place in the song contest held in Seoul with the Modern Folk Üçlüsü.

Duru has released numerous albums, television programs, and musical stage shows throughout her career. She starred in musicals such as "Carmen," "Cahide," and "Yedi Kocalı Hürmüz," and also appeared in cinema and series projects. The artist, who was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 49th Golden Butterfly Awards in 2023, continues her career spanning over fifty years on stage.
