Mark Guiliana

Mark Guiliana is a Grammy-nominated musician and composer who freely moves between jazz, electronic music, and rock, described by The New York Times as "a drummer who has cultivated a cult of admiration." Guiliana grew up in New Jersey and graduated from William Paterson University with a degree in Jazz Studies and Performance; he embarked on an international tour with the Israeli bassist Avishai Cohen in the early years of his career.

Guiliana formed the electronic duo Mehliana with Brad Mehldau, collaborated with St. Vincent and Meshell Ndegeocello, and contributed to David Bowie's final album, Blackstar, reaching a wide audience. His latest solo album, MARK, showcases his identity as a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, as he performs all drum, piano, and synthesizer layers himself.
