Mabel Matiz

Mabel Matiz was born in Mersin on August 31, 1985. He began his music education with guitar and voice lessons during university and wrote his first songs during those years. Since 2008, the artist has continued his career, creating his early songs as personal home recordings and releasing them anonymously on his MySpace page. Mabel Matiz met Engin Akıncı, who showed interest in his songs, and began preparing for his first album. In this context, he joined forces with Alper Gemici and Alper Erinç to enter the studio for the project. His debut album, titled "Mabel Matiz," features 12 songs with an acoustic band theme, and was released by Esen Müzik on May 5, 2011.

His first album, bearing the same name as his stage name, was released on May 11, 2011, and music videos were filmed for five songs on the album. Beyond his own albums, Mabel Matiz has written lyrics and music for albums by Teoman, Göksel, Ayşegül Aldinç, and many others. In 2015, he released his third album, "Gök Nerede." Most recently, in 2018, he released his fourth album, "Maya." The successful musician continues to work on his fifth studio album.
