Feridun Düzağaç has been creating music on the Turkish rock and alternative scene for over thirty years, becoming one of the most recognizable voices of his generation. Writing both the lyrics and music himself, the artist chose to maintain his own voice rather than conforming to popular expectations. Today, he continues to release new tracks and connects with large audiences on stage.
Feridun Düzağaç was born in Adana on October 10, 1968. His first encounter with the stage was in Mersin, where he began singing in front of people as the lead singer of a band. His career started directly on stage, not in the studio.
The turning point came in 1988. He formed the TINI group with four friends he met at university, aiming to produce their own music and write their own songs. During this period, the artist discovered the "sacred burden" of writing songs in his own words.
His first composition was based on Özdemir Asaf's poem "Lavinia." On a day when private radio stations were just beginning to broadcast, the song became the second most requested track on a national radio station. This first composition, born from a poet's verses, was a harbinger of the relationship between literature and music that Feridun Düzağaç would sustain throughout his career.
