Born in Istanbul on June 9, 1952, the artist showed an interest in music from childhood, training under teachers like Melahat Pars and Rıdvan Aytan. She gained recognition by winning a singing competition in 1970 and launched her music career in 1971 with her first record.
Throughout her career, Ersoy has released over thirty albums, reaching a wide audience with works such as "Beddua," "Düşkünüm Sana," "Yaşamak İstiyorum," and "Biz Ayrılamayız." She continued her dedication to classical Turkish music with the 1995 albums "Benim Dünya Güzellerim" and "Alaturka 95." Performing hundreds of concerts both at home and abroad, the artist also appeared on stages like the London Palladium and Paris Olympia. Beyond her music career, Ersoy has served as a jury member on television programs and appeared in various films. Known as "Diva," she is one of the artists who has graced the stage for over half a century.
