Bengü

Born in İzmir on April 2, 1979, Bengü began her music career as a child with the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra and the musical "Oliver Twist." A graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration, she was selected as second place in the 1998 Pop Show contest, met Kenan Doğulu, and served as his vocalist for three years. After releasing her debut album "Hoş Geldin" in 2000, she solidified her place in the music world with "Bağlasan Durmam" (2005) and "Taktik" (2007), which marked her major breakthrough. She became one of the year's best-selling artists by receiving a digital certificate from MÜ-YAP with the song "Korkma Kalbim." Continuing her rise, Bengü reached the top of charts for seven weeks with her Gold Album-winning album "İki Melek" released in 2009. She introduced the albums "Dört Dörtlük" in 2011 and "İkinci Hal" in 2014 to her audience, maintaining a top spot on official charts with hits like "Sahici." According to 2014 data, Bengü secured the title of the most broadcast female artist on television, maintaining her status among Turkey's popular names through both musical success and her victory in the dance competition.
