Batuhan Polat was born in İzmir in 1995 and lived there until he moved to Istanbul for university. He grew up in a home filled with music, surrounded by his father's folk melodies played on the oud. He began playing guitar at age nine. While performing in school orchestras and with friends, he started singing and writing his first songs. He then enrolled in the Music Department at Bilgi University. Throughout his studies, he continued writing songs and has been composing and performing concerts since 2016.
