Summer Vibes: Jabbar

Jabbar is a singer-songwriter, composer, and musician whose music carries the traces of different geographies and journeys — standing out with his heartfelt lyrics, powerful melodies, and distinctive style.

His musical journey began in İzmir, where he was born and raised, and took shape during his university years as he lent his voice and guitar to projects spanning Brit Pop, Classic Rock, Reggae, and Hip Hop.

Having lived and created in Marmaris for nearly 20 years, Jabbar developed a more universal musical language through the connections he built with listeners from diverse cultures.

After years of performing in various projects, he began recording his own songs in his home studio in 2009. Also a sailor, Jabbar has traveled across oceans to many different parts of the world — experiences that deepened his musical perspective and added new layers to his work.

In 2016, his path crossed with Deeperise, and together they arranged "Raf", a song he wrote both the lyrics and music for. This project marked a significant turning point for both. His debut solo album "Yineleme" followed, earning him a devoted audience with songs like "Cesaretsizce Olmuyor."

Continuing to create alongside Deeperise while also pursuing his solo career, Jabbar has put his signature on many works with millions of streams, including "Geçmiş Değişmez" and "Unuttum Derdimi." He continues to create in his own musical language and connect with his audience.
