Perturbator, who will take the stage at Paribu Art, stands out as one of the most intense, dark, and visionary figures in contemporary electronic music. The French musician James Kent has redefined synthwave aesthetics not as nostalgic imitation, but as a dystopian, unsettling, and highly immersive narrative tool.
Gaining attention with early releases such as Night Driving Avenger, TERROR 404, and I Am the Night in 2012, Perturbator quickly became a key figure pushing the boundaries of the retro-electronic scene.
