Fun Lovin’ Criminals at Paribu Art on June 19
New York–based cult band Fun Lovin’ Criminals bring the energy of their over 30-year career and their signature style to the Paribu Art stage. Blending rock, hip-hop, funk, and soul in a unique way, the group is set to deliver a powerful live performance featuring both their classic hits and their contemporary sound.
Formed in 1993, Fun Lovin’ Criminals quickly became one of the most distinctive acts on the alternative music scene. With songs like Scooby Snacks, Love Unlimited, and King of New York, they reached millions of listeners worldwide. Their music—shaped by Tarantino film samples, urban grooves, and a cinematic storytelling approach—has placed them on a unique path from the 1990s to today.
The band is also preparing to release their seventh studio album, A Matter of Time, marking a return after 15 years. While staying true to their roots, the album presents a more personal and introspective tone. Produced by Brian “Fast” Leiser and Frank Benbini, it is finalized with Grammy-winning engineer Tim Latham.
In recent years, the group has performed more than 150 concerts across over 10 countries, sharing the stage with artists such as Jamiroquai and Nile Rodgers & Chic, once again proving their strength as a live act. On stage, Fun Lovin’ Criminals go beyond their hits, blending deep cuts and new material into a unique concert experience.
On June 19 at Paribu Art, Fun Lovin’ Criminals will bring both their iconic sound and the spirit of their upcoming album to Istanbul.
